Under the umbrella of the Family Day Care Association QLD, Approved Provider for Enhance Family Day Care and In Home Care Services invites interested parties to apply for 1  new positions in Central QLD.

About the role

The Program and Practice Managers are the lead communicator, manager, and champion of our Family Day Care and In Home Care Services and their operations. Due to a redevelopment of our strategic directions, 1 new positions are available in Central Queensland.

The Program and Practice Managers develop strategic, program-level approaches to achieving the vision, values and operational objectives of FDCAQ Enhance Family Day Care and In home Care Services. Serving as an example for all other members and leaders in the team. The Program and Practice Managers will advise and mentor other team members, and lead movement towards the organisational vision and values.

Promote and manage services – inspiring excellence in the brand including marketing and communications.

Providing strategic advice and input to assist FDCAQ in influencing the direction of children services   reform and future directions of the sector.

The positions play a key role in developing the culture and capability required to take our services into the future.

The Central Queensland Position is 32 hours per week and could be based at our service sites in Rockhampton, Gladstone or Childers and will require regular travel between Wide Bay, Emerald, Gladstone and Rockhampton regions.

Practice Mentor – 38 hours per week

Enhance Family Day Care – Blue River is seeking an enthusiastic, qualified professional to join the team.

The coordination unit requires a self-motivated person that possesses the ability to lead self, a team of educators and the passion to influence the profession that enables children to flourish. The focus of the Practice Mentor role is facilitating quality education and care practice within a relationship based learning culture congruent with the spirit of the learning frameworks.

Applicants must possess:

  • Experience working in children’s education and care service profession.
  • Minimum Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
  • ‘C class’ driver’s licence and registered roadworthy vehicle.
  • Current Suitability for Child Related Employment card or eligibility to obtain one.
