Webinar Belonging, Being and Becoming – Bringing the EYLF to life
The Early Years Learning Framework is a guide which consists of Principles, Practices and 5 high level Learning Outcomes and a number of sub-outcomes, based on identity, community, wellbeing, learning and communicating. The Learning Outcomes are designed to be used to reflect on children’s learning and focus on what a child can achieve, their strengths and their interests. The Early Years Learning Framework enables educators within an early childhood setting including family day care to extend and enrich children’s learning, provide opportunities for children to develop a foundation for learning and for children to become successful learners.
This session will assist early childhood educators, in bring to engage with the Early Years Learning Framework. Upon successful completion, participants will be equipped with an introductory understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework’s (EYLF) and the key themes of “Belonging, Being and Becoming’. The session will explore these three themes, and consider how do they relate to educators work with children and how can these themes assist educators to provide experiences and an environment which support children’s learning and development.
