Preparing for Rating and Assessment – National Quality Standard
Preparing for the Rating and Assessment process is often seen as stressful for educators. By spending time developing an understanding of the Rating and Assessment process educators will learn how to prepare themselves, their environment and children in care, for the visit by an Authorised Officer.
It is important to remember the Rating and Assessment process is an opportunity to demonstrate and showcase practice. The process is not about catching you out, rather acknowledging your work with children and providing you with critical feedback to enhance your practice and business operation.
This session aims to assist you with building confidence about the quality system and Rating and Assessment process all early childhood services must undertake as an approved service within the National Quality Framework.
