Keeping you and your family safe and healthy

A message from the Chief Executive Officer – Jason de Bakker

Dear Family Day Care Association Queensland Members,

During this time of uncertainty Family Day Care Association Queensland (FDCAQ) wishes to advise all of our  members that we remain open and are committed to supporting you through this challenging time.

FDCAQ continues to work closely with the Department of Education and Queensland Health, to monitor the situation and identify and manage any impact to our members. This has led to a number of ongoing member information sessions where we are able to share the latest news and updates with you.

Our FDCAQ members are continuing to review hygiene and health practices and have introduced additional measures to stop the spread of germs and infection during the COVID-19 pandemic.

All of our decisions regarding the operation of family day care services are made with the advice of medical professionals and health authorities. We will continue to keep you updated on any additional advised measures recommended to keeping children safe.

FDCAQ is working around the clock to ensure we do all we can to continue to support our members. We will continue to keep you updated on any changes to policies, procedures and provide you with current resources and information as the situation unfolds.

In the meantime, please feel free to contact us if you would like any further information or clarification regarding the situation at hand.

Please stay safe and look after each other through this time.

Jason de Bakker
FDCAQ Chief Executive Officer
